Ethical Affiliate Marketing, by Robert Deveau

Affiliate marketing has a bad reputation for a reason.

Too much of it is built on inflated promises, fake urgency, glowing reviews from people who never used the product, and “helpful” advice that somehow always leads to the most expensive option.

That is not what this site is for.

Ethical Affiliate Marketing is a place for honest recommendations, practical online-business ideas, and a clearer look at the tools people are being encouraged to buy. I believe affiliate marketing can be useful when it helps someone make a better decision—not when it treats them as a commission waiting to happen.

That means a few things here:

  • I will be clear when a link may earn me a commission.
  • I will not recommend products simply because they pay well.
  • I will talk about limitations, trade-offs, and who a product is not right for.
  • I will aim to recommend things I have used, researched carefully, or can honestly explain.
  • I will not use fake countdown timers, invented scarcity, or “get rich quick” promises.

I am not here to tell you that everyone can quit their job next month, earn passive income while they sleep, or turn a few clicks into financial freedom.

I am interested in the more useful questions: What is this tool actually good for? What does it cost? Is it worth your time? Is there a simpler option? What are the risks? And does it make your life or work genuinely better?

I have spent years around online-business ideas, self-help systems, courses, tools, and promises of a bigger future. Some were useful. Some were expensive detours. This site exists because I think people deserve better than hype—and because I still believe the internet can help ordinary people learn, make things, and build something worthwhile.

You will find articles about affiliate marketing, online tools, digital products, small-business ideas, and the occasional reality check.

No hype. Just what works.
